The Taste Bud Cooking Studio is owner managed.

A fun yet safe environment where each child is given the opportunity to explore the Creative world of The Culinary Arts.

Cooking at The Taste Bud is fun, educational, therapeutic and most of all confidence building.

The Taste Bud Cooking Studio boasts of a Custom built Kitchen to suit children of every age.

Each child is spoilt for choice with ingredients of only the best quality as they learn new techniques and cooking methods, whilst making their OWN dish from scratch.

A REAL hands -on cooking approach is taken. Each child leaves our classes with a substantial meal to share with mom and dad at home.

We offer Weekly classes for kids ages 3-12. These classes run each term and allow kids to graduate to different levels.

We also offer Mommy & me Workshops and Very Popular Kids Cooking Parties.

The Taste Bud offers Cooking parties with a difference. Each child is given the opportunity to cook their own dish. The Custom built kitchen allows large groups of kids to COOK their OWN food, either on the stove or using our state of the art ovens.

We offer 4 different TYPES of parties with many different MENU choices to suit your child`s needs and your pocket.

Parties at The Taste Bud are a spoil and a treat at affordable rates.

Each Party Package includes The Taste Bud invitations, Chefs hats, Recipe Cards, take away boxes, use of all the facilities, balloons, serviettes, table decor, Our Famous bottomless Princess/Pirate Punch, adult refreshments and clean-up and pack down.

Our Parties are known not just to be fun and educational but also a real TREAT. Each Birthday child receives a special gift for their birthday.

Party Packages range from R140 - R230 per child.

* Groups larger than 15 are given a group discount

The Taste Bud offers age appropriate Kids cooking classes.

Taste Tots & Moms (ages 1 ½ - 3) :
Tuesdays 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Taste Buds (ages 3-6) :
Thursdays 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Budding Chefs (ages 6-12) :
Thursdays 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

All classes offered are hands on and age appropriate. To find out more please send us a mail.

Mommy & Me Workshops take place once a Month on a Saturday morning so that all moms can spend special one-on-one time with their ''head-chef''. These workshops are very popular. Here kids make special tea-time treats to take home with their mom. This interactive experience allows each child to gain in confidence and independence as they take charge with the assurance of mom by their side.
